Description
The Idaho Recreational Vehicle (RV) Fund provides grants to public agencies for facilities used by people traveling and camping in recreational vehicles. Administered by the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation, it supports improvements to campgrounds, campsites, dump stations and general RV access statewide.
The Idaho Legislature established the program in 1985 in response to RV users seeking benefits from the registration fees they pay. Projects are reviewed and ranked by the Idaho RV Advisory Committee; the Idaho Park and Recreation Board approves its recommendations. More than 650 projects have been completed through the program.
