    Description

The International Association for Great Lakes Research (IAGLR) awards the IDEA+ Presenter Scholarship annually to broaden participation by people from historically marginalized communities. The scholarship reflects IAGLR’s commitment to Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility+ and supports presenters who add to the diversity of perspectives shared at its annual Conference on Great Lakes Research.

The program focuses on the interface of large lake science, management, education, communication, policy, and community. Applications are assessed for how the proposed work integrates these areas, including outreach, and how it advances the scholarship’s goals. The proposed presentation abstract and the applicant’s involvement in activities related to large lake issues also inform selection.
