Description
iDMentorship365 is the Infectious Diseases Society of America’s yearlong virtual mentorship program connecting students, residents, fellows, and early-career professionals with experienced infectious diseases leaders. It supports career exploration, professional networks, and the development of future ID leaders through one-to-one mentorship and programming tailored to each mentee’s training stage. Conversations can address fellowship applications, salary negotiation, and finding a professional niche in infectious diseases.
The structured 12-month experience includes IDSA-provided resources, training, webinars, peer discussions, and IDWeek networking activities. Mentees receive society membership and journal subscriptions, while mentors receive guided agendas, orientation, and tools to support their matches. Made possible by supporters of the IDSA Foundation, the program aims to strengthen the infectious diseases workforce.
