Description
Ignite Wisconsin is a Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) program for consortia working to increase startup and capital density across the state. It supports collaborative, founder-centric ecosystems that connect entrepreneurs with institutions, investors and support organizations, helping high-tech, high-growth startups launch and scale.
Projects may develop technical assistance, mentorship and capital programs; expand incubators or founder fellowships; support commercialization; or market Wisconsin’s entrepreneurial successes. WEDC seeks coordinated efforts that reduce barriers to entry, improve access to networks and investment, and build capacity that can endure beyond the grant.
