Description
The Institute of Historical Research (IHR) Fellowship provides a home and formal affiliation for researchers conducting historical projects. It is intended for people who would benefit from spending time embedded in the IHR community and who wish to contribute to it. The programme aims to facilitate research among people who support one another’s work.
Fellows play an active role in the life of the Institute. They often include historians without an institutional affiliation, overseas visitors, and researchers working in public history, museums, or archives. The IHR Fellowship replaces the Institute’s former Senior, Associate, and Alumni fellowship schemes.
