    Description

IICS4all 2027 is run by ERA4Health, a European Commission-funded partnership fostering a European Research Area for health research. It supports pragmatic, phase III, randomised controlled, multinational interventional Investigator-Initiated Clinical Studies with high public relevance. Studies must address comparative effectiveness and/or repurposing of off-patent drugs in cardiovascular diseases, metabolic disorders, autoimmune diseases or non-communicable respiratory diseases. These four areas have equal importance.

Projects may address multiple eligible conditions and related comorbidities, and may use existing cohorts, including Trials within Cohorts. Inclusivity and diversity are central priorities, with sex/gender-sensitive, age-specific and other diversity-related considerations incorporated where relevant. The call also emphasises Responsible Research and Innovation, patient involvement and relevance to patient needs.
