Description
The Institute of International Education’s Scholar Rescue Fund (IIE-SRF) is a global initiative supporting professors, researchers, and public intellectuals who are threatened or displaced due to conflict or persecution. Through yearlong fellowships at partnering higher education institutions worldwide—including within scholars' home regions—the program enables academics to continue their research and teaching in safety. Fellows receive financial support, health insurance, relocation funding, and professional development resources. The program is designed to safeguard academic freedom and preserve the contributions of scholars at risk.
