The IIE Victor J. Goldberg Prize for Peace in the Middle East is awarded annually to recognize and support courageous, innovative partnerships between an Israeli Jew and an Arab Muslim who work together to foster peace, healing, and connection in the Middle East. Established in 2004, the prize celebrates grassroots initiatives that build bridges across religious, cultural, and political divides, and aims to inspire others by highlighting successful joint efforts that advance peaceful coexistence in the region. Past recipients have included leaders in community dialogue, legal advocacy, interfaith collaboration, youth leadership, and social innovation.
