Description
The Illinois Homeowner Assistance Fund Home Repair Program (HAFHR), administered by the Illinois Housing Development Authority (IHDA), supported home repair work for Illinois homeowners. Its funding came from the federal Homeowner Assistance Fund, established under section 3206 of the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021.
The program is now closed. IHDA provides separate contacts for general program inquiries and for homeowners requesting payoff quotes for existing HAFHR liens.
