Description
This grant program, administered by the Illinois Department of Agriculture, funds the development, improvement, or expansion of infrastructure that supports the processing, storage, aggregation, and distribution of value-added agricultural products produced in Illinois. The goal is to increase market access for Illinois-grown food, strengthen local food supply chains, and benefit communities through improved food distribution and processing capacity. Eligible projects may include investments in value-added processing, refrigerated vehicles, food hubs, community kitchens, cold storage, and similar infrastructure.
