Summary: Supports innovative imaging research to advance understanding, diagnosis, and treatment of Alzheimer’s and other neurodegenerative diseases.
This grant, jointly offered by the Foundation of the American Society of Neuroradiology (ASNR) and the Alzheimer’s Association, is designed to support the development of novel imaging tools, data analysis methods, and biomarkers that advance research in Alzheimer’s and other neurodegenerative diseases. The program aims to fund early-stage pilot projects focused on improving disease understanding, early and accurate diagnosis, and identifying new treatment strategies. Projects addressing health disparities and incorporating diverse populations are strongly encouraged. The ultimate goal is to translate research into strategies for risk reduction, prevention, and enhanced care.
