The Campus Compact Impact Awards honor outstanding individuals and institutions for their achievements in advancing the public purposes of higher education through civic and community engagement. The program includes multiple award categories, each recognizing different roles and forms of engagement—students, early-career and senior faculty, community engagement professionals, presidents and chancellors, and exemplary programs or partnerships. The awards highlight impactful work that demonstrates higher education’s potential to serve the public good and foster thriving, democratic communities.

Award categories include:

• Student Leadership Awards: For undergraduate and graduate students demonstrating inspiring leadership in civic/community engagement.
• Ernest A. Lynton Award for the Scholarship of Engagement: For full-time, pre-tenure faculty integrating teaching, research, and service with community engagement.
• Thomas Ehrlich Civically Engaged Faculty Award: For senior faculty recognized for exemplary engaged scholarship.
• Nadinne Cruz Community Engagement Professional Award: For professionals whose leadership has led to transformative change in community engagement.
• Richard Guarasci & Eduardo J. Padrón Awards for Presidential Leadership: For presidents/chancellors exemplifying sustained commitment to civic and community engagement.
• Excellence in Civic & Community Engagement Programming Award: For outstanding campus-based programs.
• Excellence in Community-Engaged Partnerships Award: For higher education programs/initiatives demonstrating deep community partnerships.
