Description
The Community Foundation of the Lowcountry’s competitive Impact Grants help nonprofits launch new programs and projects, strengthen or expand existing programs and services, and invest in large capital projects that critically enhance their missions. The program focuses on community impact, with each application required to explain how the proposed investment benefits the people the organization serves.
Funding is restricted to organizations serving people who live or work in Hilton Head Island, Daufuskie Island, or Greater Bluffton. The foundation runs fall and spring grant cycles. Its Grants Advisory Committee reviews requests, conducts site visits, and recommends awards to the Board of Directors, which makes the final determinations.
