Description
The Impact-Linked Fund for Education (ILFE) is an initiative by the Jacobs Foundation, in partnership with the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation. It is designed to support high-impact enterprises that are working to improve learning outcomes for children and youth in West Africa and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) regions. The fund specifically targets organizations delivering innovative, technology-enabled educational solutions—such as mobile learning platforms and AI-based tools—that reach underserved groups, including rural youth and refugees. ILFE aims to reduce educational inequalities, particularly those exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic, by connecting these enterprises with suitable financing and rewarding measurable positive educational outcomes.
