Description
This funding opportunity from the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) is designed to support projects that implement findings from specific, peer-reviewed PCORI-funded research into routine healthcare practice. The goal is to accelerate the uptake and integration of proven interventions, strategies, or programs that improve patient-centered outcomes. For Cycle 3 2026, PCORI seeks proposals that focus on the practical application of evidence in one or more of the following areas:
- Screening and treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) in children and adolescents
- Direct hospital admission programs for children
- Early palliative care for patients with advanced cancer (including telehealth)
- Caries arrest and prevention in children (school-based oral health programs)
Projects must propose active, multicomponent implementation strategies, engage key stakeholders at multiple levels, and demonstrate organizational commitment across multiple health systems. Applicants are expected to use established conceptual frameworks and include rigorous evaluation plans.
