Description
The National Institutes of Health supports implementation research on strategies to improve the uptake, implementation, sustainment, scale, and spread of evidence-based HIV prevention, treatment, and care interventions. The program focuses on communities in the United States significantly impacted by HIV, with the goal of producing substantial research and public health impact.
This opportunity uses the R61/R33 mechanism, with clinical trials optional. Projects should be large in scale. Large single-site studies, multi-site studies, and comparative studies are encouraged where scientifically appropriate. The emphasis is on implementation strategies that advance the use and sustained delivery of evidence-based interventions across HIV prevention, treatment, and care.
