This opportunity aims to continue and expand the US Influenza Vaccine Effectiveness (Flu VE) Network. The network provides critical data to improve the effectiveness of influenza and other respiratory pathogen vaccines by supporting multi-site research and surveillance activities. Funded projects will conduct annual vaccine effectiveness (VE) and correlates of protection surveillance, electronic acute respiratory illness and VE surveillance, household transmission research, and immunogenicity studies. The program is divided into components (A–D), with applicants required to apply for either Component A (VE and correlates of protection) or B (Coordination and surge capacity), and optional participation in Components C (Household transmission studies) and D (Immunogenicity studies) depending on the primary component selected.
