Description
The International Myeloma Society (IMS) Career Development Award supports young investigators pursuing research across all areas of plasma cell dyscrasias. Its goal is to develop future leaders in plasma cell disorders while strengthening collaboration between institutions. Basic and translational research projects are eligible.
Awardees carry out their proposed work in a host laboratory rather than at their home institution. The host laboratory provides mentorship and research resources, while the home institution describes the investigator’s anticipated career path. The award connects the research placement to the applicant’s longer-term career in the field.
