Description
The Nebraska Department of Transportation Highway Safety Office (NDOT-HSO) offers this mini-grant to help Nebraska law enforcement agencies acquire digital in-car camera systems. It is part of a program of contracts for specific purchases or short-term activities lasting no longer than 30 days. The applicant selects and acquires the equipment, pays the initial cost, and seeks reimbursement after approval and purchase.
Agencies receiving cameras must install and use them during the current grant period to support the project’s traffic-safety targets. They must then report the activity generated by the equipment annually for three years and participate in Nebraska HSO special enforcement mobilizations during that period.
