Description
The IFDA Educational Foundation’s Ina Mae Kaplan Historic Preservation Grant supports preservation and restoration of historic public buildings or significant structures related to interior furnishings and design. Supported by the IFDA Washington, DC Chapter, the grant honors interior designer and IFDA Fellow Ina Mae Kaplan and her service to the association, her chapter, and the community.
The program supports individuals, design professionals, and preservation organizations undertaking historic preservation or restoration projects. Eligible work includes consultant services, print and video communications, preservation conferences and workshops, innovative educational programs, and adaptive reuse. Consultant services may address architecture, planning, paint, wall coverings, floor coverings, archeology, fundraising, media relations, education, or graphic design.
