Description
The Medieval Academy of America’s Inclusivity and Diversity Travel Grant supports travel associated with presenting scholarship on diversity and inclusivity in the Middle Ages at the Academy’s Annual Meeting. The scholarly focus is broadly conceived, and an accepted presentation in any Annual Meeting session can qualify. The grant is tied to sharing this scholarship at the meeting rather than to a particular session or dedicated conference theme.
The Academy awards the grant to one Annual Meeting participant. Its Inclusivity and Diversity Prize Committee adjudicates applications, with preference given to student, junior, adjunct, and unaffiliated scholars. Applicants must already have an accepted proposal for the upcoming Annual Meeting.
