Description
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services’ Site Evaluation Program offers these mini-grants to help Tribal health departments and organizations increase tenant and homeowner environmental health literacy. Projects may create, expand, or enhance interventions that address the effects of indoor air quality, water quality, or soil contamination on housing.
Funds are intended for education, community engagement, collaboration, and other outreach that helps tenants and homeowners identify and protect themselves from environmental hazards. Projects should build on applicants’ existing community relationships and use or adapt strategies to local needs. Health equity and environmental justice are priorities in project planning and implementation.
