Description
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services’ Site Evaluation Program (SEP) offers mini-grants to increase tenant and homeowner environmental health literacy in Tribal communities. The program supports Tribal health departments and Tribal organizations implementing new, innovative, expanded, or enhanced interventions addressing environmental hazards and their impact on housing.
Funding supports education, community engagement, collaboration, and other outreach that helps tenants and homeowners recognize environmental hazards and protect themselves from harmful exposures. Projects must address housing-related hazards involving indoor air quality, water quality, or soil contamination in the communities applicants serve. Health equity and environmental justice should be central to project planning and implementation.
