Description
Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. supports independent oncology education and scientific programs with a genuine medical, scientific, or educational purpose. Independent Medical Education Grants cover accredited continuing medical education (CME), non-CME education, and Healthcare Improvement or Quality Improvement (HCI/QI) initiatives. The programs are intended to give healthcare professionals fair, balanced, scientifically accurate information and help improve patient care.
Non-CME activities considered may include scientific-conference lectures, education led by patient advocacy groups or professional societies, disease-state education, healthcare-related public policy initiatives, and independent improvement projects. HCI/QI initiatives aim to bring scientific evidence into routine clinical practice. Daiichi Sankyo does not influence the content, design, or implementation of grant-supported work.
