Description
Lundbeck’s Independent Medical Education program supports high-quality, independent accredited and nonaccredited educational programs and materials. It funds defined medical or scientific education activities submitted by third-party providers, including education for healthcare professionals and materials developed or distributed to healthcare professionals, patients, or caregivers and families. Its goal is to disseminate scientific and medical information that can improve care and health outcomes for people living with psychiatric and neurological disorders.
Requests are assessed for scientific rigor, balance, merit, and alignment with Lundbeck’s strategy. The application checklist identifies Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, neurogenic orthostatic hypotension, epilepsy, and treatment-resistant schizophrenia as U.S. funding priority areas. Requests outside Lundbeck’s listed therapeutic areas generally will not be considered. Organizers—not Lundbeck—control the program’s content and delivery.
