Description
Genentech, a member of the Roche Group, supports Independent Medical Education delivered by independent educational providers, including community hospitals, academic centers, societies or associations, and medical education and communication companies. The program aims to advance excellence in healthcare through education that addresses evidence-based educational gaps and improves healthcare professionals’ knowledge, competence, and performance. Activity organizers retain sole control over the agenda, content, and faculty; Genentech does not guide the education.
The October 2026 Alzheimer’s Disease call offers two opportunities focused on primary care. One addresses early detection, cognitive risk assessment, patient conversations, and emerging blood-based biomarkers. The other focuses on primary care physicians serving underserved populations, combining culturally sensitive communication, low-bias cognitive assessment, and community resource mapping.
