Description
Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity offers this residency for musicians, performers, composers, and interdisciplinary collaborators who need uninterrupted space to start or advance a project. It supports music and opera composition or research, as well as hybrid and genre-defying work. Solo creators and ensembles can rehearse, experiment, make sound, and develop new work without structured programming.
Each residency includes a private rehearsal studio allocated according to project needs. Available features may include a small PA system, furniture, a piano or other large instruments, and self-recording equipment. The program is intended for projects that fit a traditional music studio and benefit from focused, independent work in Banff.
