Description
The Indiana Community Recycling Grant Program, administered by the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM), funds projects that promote recycling, source reduction, organics management (including composting and yard waste), and household hazardous waste (HHW) collection and disposal. The program is designed to help communities, schools, and nonprofits in Indiana start or expand recycling, reuse, composting, or source reduction initiatives, as well as improve material management efficiency and sustainability. Eligible projects may include equipment purchases, educational outreach, new collection services, and infrastructure improvements that directly support waste diversion and environmental stewardship.
