Summary: Supports basic, translational, and clinical research to improve tumor diagnosis and management in people with NF1 and other inherited Rasopathy syndromes.
The Developmental and Hyperactive Ras Tumor (DHART) SPORE program aims to improve the diagnosis and management of tumors arising in people with neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1) and other inherited “Rasopathy” syndromes. Offered through the Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute, these awards support basic, translational, and clinical research within that scientific focus.
Two funding opportunities are available: the Developmental Research Program (DRP) and the Career Enhancement Program (CEP). Both contribute to the DHART SPORE program’s broader effort to bring these areas of investigation together around tumors associated with inherited conditions. Each opportunity has separate guidelines and uses the DHART SPORE application and cover page.
