Description
The Indiana Recycling Market Development Program (RMDP) provides financial assistance to support projects that grow recycling markets, reduce solid waste, and promote sustainable materials management throughout Indiana. Administered by the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM), the program funds projects that increase the collection and utilization of recyclable materials, upgrade recycling equipment, and foster public outreach and education on recycling. Priority is given to projects focusing on plastics, mixed glass, organics, electronics, and similar materials, with an emphasis on innovative approaches that help Indiana reach its statewide recycling goals and support local economic development.
