Description
INDIE GRANTS is a South Carolina Film Commission production grant offered through Trident Technical College (TTC). It funds and produces live-action narrative short films while giving TTC film students practical experience working under professional crews. The program is part of the SC Film Production Fund, which was established to connect motion-picture professionals with South Carolina institutions of higher learning and build the state’s film-industry skills.
Projects may shoot anywhere in South Carolina. The program can provide production support such as mentoring, script and festival consulting, and access to TTC equipment, subject to availability and approval. Independent industry evaluators consider both the creative strength of a proposed film and whether its team, budget, and production strategy can deliver it.
