Description
The Indigenous Engaged Research Grant Program, administered by the University of Alberta’s Office of the Vice-President (Research), is designed to foster meaningful, respectful, and reciprocal research partnerships between university researchers and Indigenous communities. The program emphasizes collaborative relationship-building and engagement throughout all stages of the research process, with the goal of supporting projects that benefit and involve Indigenous partners. Funding is available through two streams: Small Research Grants for immediate, time-sensitive engagement needs, and Large Research Grants for more extensive partnership activities.
