Description
The Indigenous Graduate Fellowships (IGF) Research Engagement Award at the University of British Columbia provides funding to Indigenous Master's and PhD students in research-based programs to facilitate meaningful engagement with Indigenous communities throughout their research. The award supports activities such as relationship-building, community capacity development, fieldwork, establishing reciprocal and community-led research protocols, and reporting back to communities. This initiative aligns with UBC’s commitment to Indigenous engagement and reconciliation in graduate education.
