Description
This grant supports individual artists residing in Minnesota’s Arrowhead Region by funding projects that advance artistic development and benefit the broader community. Eligible activities include the creation, performance, exhibition, or publication of artistic works, as well as arts events, workshops, festivals, and non-academic arts education opportunities. The program emphasizes artistic vision, community impact, project feasibility, and clear evaluation methods, with a strong focus on inclusivity, accessibility, and equitable resource distribution. Priority is given to first-time applicants, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, applicants with disabilities, U.S. military veterans, individuals age 65+, and rural applicants from underfunded areas.
