Description
The Individual Artist Fellowship program, administered by Business Oregon through the Oregon Arts Commission, is designed to honor and support Oregon’s professional artists by recognizing creative excellence, sustained professional achievement, and potential for future contributions to the arts. Fellowships are awarded in alternating cycles for Performing Arts and Visual Arts, and are open to artists working in a wide range of disciplines, including crafts, painting, photography, sculpture, mixed media, new media, fashion, graphic design, choreography, music, theater, and more. The program places a strong emphasis on creative excellence as demonstrated through work samples and encourages applications from artists in underserved communities, including rural areas and communities of color.
