    Description

    The Individual Artist Fellowship Program, administered by the Oregon Arts Commission through Business Oregon, recognizes and supports the creative excellence and professional achievements of Oregon's professional artists. Fellowships are awarded in alternating years for disciplines such as Visual Arts, Performing Arts, and, through partnerships, Literary and Media Arts. The program aims to advance artists' careers and encourages applications from artists in underserved communities, including rural areas and communities of color. Fellowships are granted primarily on the basis of creative excellence as demonstrated in submitted work samples, sustained professional achievement, and the potential for future contribution to the field.
