Description
The Individual Artist Fellowships program, administered by the Delaware Division of the Arts, provides competitive monetary awards to Delaware creative artists in disciplines including visual, performing, media, folk, and literary arts. The fellowships are intended to recognize artistic excellence and support artists in advancing their careers by enabling them to acquire equipment, materials, or dedicated working time. Recipients are required to present their work publicly in Delaware during their fellowship year, and the program is structured to nurture both emerging and established artists as well as, in select disciplines, those at the master level. Applications are evaluated anonymously by out-of-state arts professionals coordinated by Mid Atlantic Arts.
