This grant supports non-hobby artists in NW Minnesota to develop, exhibit, or perform their creative work and grow professionally in any artistic discipline.

Funding Amounts: $1,500, $3,000, or $5,000 per award; multiple awards at each level per cycle; funds may be used for project costs or artist fees.

Description
This program provides financial assistance to individual, non-hobby artists living in northwestern Minnesota. Grants are intended to support the exhibition, performance, or production of creative work, mentorships, and participation in not-for-credit arts experiences. The aim is to help artists advance their skills, develop their artistic businesses, and increase the visibility of the arts in their communities. Funding is made possible through the McKnight Foundation and the State of Minnesota, administered by the Northwest Minnesota Arts Council (NWMAC).
