Each region has its own administering organization responsible for outreach, technical assistance, application management, and selection.
Fellowships are intended to support artists at pivotal moments in their careers, allowing them to advance their practice, expand their impact, and deepen community connections. Awardees are recognized as California Arts Council Artist Fellows and may use funds as best supports their work.
