Description
The University of Notre Dame’s Nanovic Institute for European Studies offers this grant through its competitive internal faculty funding process. It supports individual research, scholarship, and creative work in European studies, with the aim of enlivening the field at Notre Dame. The program accommodates initiatives in Europe and North America, and projects may involve travel to Europe.
The grant covers these different forms of academic and creative activity rather than focusing on a single type of work. Funding preference is given to projects that have not previously received grant support from the Nanovic Institute. Proposals are considered in two review cycles each academic year, following the institute’s fall and spring deadlines.
