Description
Industrial Park Grants are part of the South Dakota Department of Transportation’s Transportation Economic Development Grants program. They help communities construct or reconstruct roads and streets that give new industries access within industrial parks. Eligible roads may run within a defined industrial park, provide primary access alongside one, or connect a major route or street to one.
The program aims to foster economic development by making industrial sites accessible as new facilities are built or expanded. SDDOT administers the grants, works with the Governor’s Office of Economic Development on Industrial Park applications, and develops the program criteria. The South Dakota Transportation Commission makes final funding decisions.
