Description
The 34th TRIO Conference is jointly sponsored by the National Bureau of Economic Research, the Tokyo Center for Economic Research, and the Centre for Economic Policy Research. It will bring together approximately six to eight paper presentations on the causes and consequences of inflation at the University of Tokyo on March 6–7, 2027.
The organizers welcome theoretical and empirical work from all subfields of economics. Papers may examine inflation within one country or across countries, including its relationship to labor, energy, housing, and international trade; research need not concern Japan. Authors of presented papers may also submit their work to a special issue of the Journal of the Japanese and International Economies (JJIE), subject to the journal’s normal review process.
