Description
The INfORM Investigator Awards recognize early-career clinical researchers and scientists conducting outstanding research on orofacial pain and related conditions. The International Network for Orofacial Pain and Related Disorders Methodology (INfORM) runs the competition in conjunction with Quintessence Publishing and the Journal of Oral & Facial Pain and Headache. Awards recognize abstracts and projects submitted to the IADR General Session & Exhibition.
Eligible clinical research addresses diagnostic criteria, management guidelines, statistical or design methodology, or findings relevant to these areas. Translational research must address developing new products and treatment approaches from basic and clinical research, or implementing those products and approaches in clinical practice. Relevance to INfORM’s mission is essential. Basic, discovery, or laboratory science outside these two translational gaps is excluded.
