Description
The Infrastructure Planning Grant (IPG), administered by the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development (TNECD), is designed to help distressed communities and financially challenged utility systems across Tennessee better understand, assess, and plan for their water and sewer infrastructure needs. Funding supports a broad range of planning activities, including system mapping and modeling, system analysis, asset management program development, and regionalization studies. The goal is to enable eligible communities and utilities to develop robust capital improvement plans, strengthen future funding proposals, and ensure the long-term sustainability of their utility services.
