This grant supports innovation projects led by companies in Norway that focus on research-driven innovation and demonstration of new technologies within the sectors of environmentally friendly energy, petroleum, maritime, transport, and CO₂ capture and storage (CCS). The main objective is to foster significant industrial research or experimental development, resulting in new or substantially improved products, services, or manufacturing processes. Projects should contribute to a sustainable, low-emission society, promote efficient and safe energy and transport solutions, and support the sustainable use of natural resources. The grant encourages broad industry collaboration, a clear plan for financing and scaling, and alignment with Norway’s climate and industrial transformation goals.
