This grant supports innovation projects led by companies in the Norwegian industrial and service sectors, with a focus on research-based innovation and restructuring to address major societal challenges in a climate-friendly, sustainable manner. Projects must involve significant industrial research and/or experimental development, aiming for outcomes such as new or significantly improved products, services, processes, or business models. Thematic areas include health, ICT, manufacturing, building and construction, real estate, and a wide range of service industries. The program emphasizes collaboration, climate and environmental sustainability, gender balance, and regional diversity, with special priority for projects advancing the circular economy.
