Description
The Research Council of Norway supports research-based innovation and restructuring that address major societal challenges while expanding companies’ market opportunities and economic benefits. Projects must contain a significant element of industrial research and/or experimental development. Results may include new products, services, manufacturing processes or delivery methods, or substantial improvements to existing ones.
The call covers health, ICT, processing and refining, manufacturing, building, construction, real estate and service industries. Projects should advance climate-friendly, environmentally, socially and economically sustainable development, contributing to Norway’s Paris Agreement commitments and transition to a low-emission society by 2050. Circular economy priorities include reuse, repair and sharing of scarce resources through innovative products, services and business models with demonstrable climate and environmental benefits.
