Description
The Research Council of Norway offers this call to promote innovation and transformation across the Norwegian land-based food and beverage value chain, from primary production through industry to consumers. Funding decisions are made by the boards of the Agriculture and Food Industry Research Funds (FFL/JA). Projects must contain a significant element of industrial research or experimental development and aim for useful, market-relevant products, services, manufacturing processes or delivery methods.
Projects may address food and supply security; climate, environment and circular economy; technology and digitalisation; or society and consumers. They must also advance at least one stated agricultural policy objective. The call seeks applied research that meets the value chain’s knowledge needs and contributes to value creation, profitability and sustainable development under Norwegian conditions.
