Description
This Horizon Europe Innovation Action funds collaborative projects advancing innovative, scalable, and sustainable biotechnologies for restoring soil health and improving agricultural competitiveness and resilience across Europe. Emphasis is placed on solutions leveraging the soil microbiome for bioremediation, enhancing soil organic carbon, improving soil structure and biodiversity, and integrating circular economy principles for sustainable soil management. Proposals must deliver market-ready biotechnological solutions, validate their scalability and societal acceptance, and address regulatory compliance and stakeholder engagement. Multi-actor involvement across the value chain, collaboration with other projects, and a strong dissemination and upscaling strategy are essential.
