Description
The Virginia Space Grant Consortium (VSGC) funds member-led Innovative Projects in higher education, pre-college education, and informal education where a small grant would make a difference. Interests include activities tied to NASA’s Artemis mission, Earth system science using NASA mission data, summer undergraduate research experiences, service-learning experiences, and teacher professional development.
The 2027 solicitation also welcomes skilled technical workforce development and Career and Technical Education activities, such as course development, work-based learning, and scholarships. Other STEM education projects aligned with VSGC and NASA goals may be considered. VSGC aims to recruit and train women, underrepresented minorities, people with disabilities, and other underserved groups for STEM careers.
