Description
This program funds the development, demonstration, and evaluation of innovative traffic safety enforcement projects—or enhancements to existing countermeasures—that address risky driving behaviors such as impaired driving, speeding, aggressive driving, occupant protection, distracted driving, and related issues. The goal is to support evidence-based, scalable, and repeatable models that can be adopted by law enforcement agencies nationwide. Projects may include research, demonstration, training, and education activities. Proposals utilizing artificial intelligence or advanced analytics are encouraged, provided their use is clearly described.
