Description
The Institute of Politics (IOP) at Harvard Kennedy School welcomes six Resident Fellows each semester. Founded in 1966, the program brings leading practitioners in politics and public service into Harvard’s academic community to encourage students’ interest in public life and promote exchange between academic and political communities.
The fellowship centers on weekly, noncredit study groups addressing current political issues connected to each Fellow’s experience. Fellows also mentor undergraduate student liaisons, hold one-on-one office hours, and participate in IOP programming. Alongside these commitments, Fellows can pursue individual studies or professional projects, connect with faculty and other political practitioners, audit courses, and reflect on their careers in politics and public service.
