Description
This opportunity offers matching funds to support the acquisition and validation of shared research instruments at UCSF Campus Cores. The goal is to promote cost-effective acquisition and optimal sharing of advanced research equipment among investigators, research groups, and departments, enhancing a collaborative, multidisciplinary research environment. Eligible instruments must be managed by a UCSF Campus Core that has implemented or is scheduled to implement the UCSF Core Management System, iLab. Funding can be used for equipment costs, essential personnel, or maintenance during the validation period. Awards are contingent on securing matching funds from internal or external sources, and all funds must be expended within three years of receipt.
